Orlando Police Department Headquarters

The project consisted of a new 100,300 sf Police Headquarters Facility and the renovation of an existing 80,0000 sf building for property and evidence storage and the Crime Scene department. The headquarters facility is comprised of a three-story headquarters building, adjacent one story multipurpose and office structure, and a standalone central energy plant. The buildings are constructed of tilt-up concrete and structural steel and feature a 3-story glass curtain wall. The crime scene facility renovation included a new hazmat and storage addition, structural modifications to existing loadbearing CMU walls, column removal and roof reframing for better space layout and a new roof which required new deck attachment and replacement deck in areas.
