TIA Airsides A, C, and F Restroom Renovation
Tampa, Florida
This design-build project at the Tampa International Airport involved a complete renovation of the existing restrooms in airside A, C, and F. The existing Airside C restrooms were built with load bearing metal studs supporting an 8” concrete deck and slab above. Most of the walls were being relocated driving the need for an extensive construction sequence and shoring plan to safely remove the existing load bearing walls while maintaining the slab above. BASE also provided the steel design and detailing for the new sink counters and toilet partition support paying close attention.
