Orange County Fire Stations

BASE Consultants provided the design of a two and three apparatus bay prototype fire station for Orange County. The facilities have support space including bunkrooms, kitchen, and multipurpose. The prototype has been utilized for several fire stations including 87 (completed 2020), 44 (under construction), 80 (under construction), and 68 (completed 2021). The facilities are constructed of load bearing 12” and 8” CMU walls, long span light gauge metal roof trusses, thickened slabs for fire trucks, and large roll up doors.
